Abstract

A cross-sectional study was conducted to assess the results of endoscopic frontal sinus surgery using a navigation system in patients with sinus diseases at the Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Thanh Nhan hospital from 4/2017 to 2/2023. The results show that most of patients were 69,8%; the mean age was 45,97 ± 12,6 years; no history of allergy (84,70%); and sinus surgery (79,2%). A total of 117 sinuses were underwent surgery; 54  patients had surgeries in both sides and 9 patients had surgery on one side, resulting in  57sinuses on the right and 60 on the left. After 8 weeks of surgery, the physical symptoms almost disappeared: zero was no nasal congestion, five patients had sinus pain, two patient had nasal discharge and seven patients had swollen mucous and 1 patient had dyspnea.
