OVERVIEW OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS PATIENT CARE
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To provide an overview of the current state of management and care for allergic rhinitis patients, evaluate treatment methods from traditional to modern, and assess the role of self-care and digital technology in improving the quality of life for patients. Method:A scoping review. Results: Allergic rhinitis is a common global disease with an increasing prevalence. Current care methods include pharmacological therapy (antihistamines, nasal corticosteroids), immunotherapy (AIT), and adjunctive methods such as probiotics. In particular, the shift towards self-management and care at the primary healthcare level and the application of digital health technologies (mHealth, telehealth) is becoming an inevitable trend, helping to personalize care pathways and enhance patient compliance. Conclusions: Caring for patients with allergic rhinitis requires multidisciplinary collaboration, combining symptomatic treatment, health education, and the application of technology to achieve optimal and sustainable results.
