TELE-NURSING CARE: A CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This analysis clarifies the concept of “Remote Nursing Care”—a method of providing professional, non-direct nursing care services using information and communication technology. Applying Walker and Avant’s conceptual analysis model, “Remote Nursing Care” is identified as an essential solution in the context of increasingly complex healthcare needs. Its core attributes include remote ICT applications, expanded nursing functions (education, supervision, counseling), improved accessibility/geographical and temporal efficiency, and ongoing care support/strengthened relationships. Despite facing infrastructure and training barriers, “Tele-Nursing Care” has shown significant effectiveness in reducing the need for support in cancer patients, easing the burden on caregivers, and improving service quality. Therefore, “Tele-Nursing Care” serves as a pioneering care model in the digital age.
