OCCUPATIONAL STRESS IN NURSING WORK: A SCOPING REVIEW

Abstract
Objective: Overview of occupational stress in nursing work. Method: A scoping review. Results: Of the 71 relevant articles, 6 articles that met the selection criteria were included in the study. These studies were conducted in different countries, all of which showed that the proportion of nurses reporting stressful work was very high. Conclusion: The level of occupational stress in nursing is a common and serious problem globally, with a very high proportion of nurses reporting stressful work. The main stressors were high workload, staff shortages and interpersonal relationships.
