Problem statement: Rhinosinusitis is a common upper respiratory tract infection worldwide in the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses and is classified into acute (<12 weeks) and chronic (>12 weeks). It is a common disease, often encountered in ENT diseases. Rhinosinusitis can affect the daily activities, emotions and quality of life of the patient due to long-term discomfort, stress, anxiety, and depression. Our study was conducted on 171 patients with rhinosinusitis after three months of medical treatment at National Otorhinorarynology Hospital of Vietnam to investigate the level of depression, anxiety and stress. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted from September to November 2024 using the DASS-21 toolkit. Results: The common age of patients was 18-60 years old (90.1%), with a higher proportion of women than men (53.8%). Most patients came from rural areas (59.6%) and had an education level of high school graduation or higher (50.3%). The treatment time for patients was 4 weeks or less, accounting for 72.5%, the majority had no concomitant chronic diseases (88.3%), during the treatment period, 69% had 2 ENT diseases at the same time. The rate of depression, anxiety, and stress in subjects with sinusitis was 0.6%; 2.3%; 0.6%.
